An ode to fiendship, a collage of new and unreleased studio, live and archival recordings. Over 40 of my compositions (orchestra, wind, chamber and jazz ensembles) and a few improvisations are "sampled" and reassembled for my fiends to play together. The audio of Roswell Rudd's voice is taken from cassette recordings I made of our lessons in 1997-1998. This recordings is dedicated to Roswell, who knew more about music and trombone than anyone I ever met, and Royce Chambers - a comet that passes once in a lifetime.
